At Hanford Manor we assess an individual’s needs to see how we can cater for them to the best of our ability. Our staff are welcoming and dedicated to providing round-the-clock excellent care. The size of the home means the care team are familiar with each resident, getting to know them personally and creating a friendly atmosphere. The well-trained care team are loving and knowledgeable, appreciating each resident’s history and individuality.
Facilities at Hanford Manor Care Home
Hanford manor is a manor house in Stoke-on-Trent with deluxe rooms adapted to meet everyone’s needs.
All the rooms are luxurious and homely. Each bedroom has an ensuite, with personal wet room shower.
We make sure each room is made comfortable and individual, by welcoming family photos, keepsakes, and decorations.
Each bedroom has a personalised memory board on the door to assist people to remember where they are going and promote independence.

The gardens are beautifully maintained to optimise views. The property has open, secure grounds which allows our residents independence and freedom to enjoy throughout the seasons.

Care Team
With the assistance of the care manager our excellent care team encourage independence and well-being. Helping service users to maintain their abilities and choices.
All our care staff are compassionate and patient, providing 24-hour care to ensure our residents always feel safe and supported.
Mealtimes
We encourage companionship within our communal areas, supporting residents to create friendships and mingle. Our mealtimes are a great time to socialise, and our chefs always endeavour to deliver top quality food with options at every mealtime.
Of course, some residents prefer to eat in the comfort of their room, the Café, or Al-Fresco; this too is catered for.

Activities
We encourage personal and sociable lifestyles, promoting individuality and choice for all our users. Our activities co-ordinator organises a range of activities to meet all abilities and desires, ranging from days out, gardening and baking - to one-to-one chats, dominoes, and bingo. There are also events organised for our residents to entertain and offer variety, for example these events have been a fairground day, world food days, Olympics party and sports day.
Diversity
Diversity is encouraged at our home; we regularly organise religious ceremonies and cultural days to celebrate our residents and carers backgrounds. This includes festive events and multicultural foods for all to try. Helping to bring back memories and promoting inclusion.
Residents are encouraged to have a voice and provide feedback to the care home; we hold regular resident meetings to enhance our service and ensure happiness for everyone.
